AXA Adds German Fashion Co. To Consumer Portfolio

Law360, New York (August 6, 2012, 9:23 PM EDT) -- AXA Private Equity has picked up a stake in family-owned fashion retailer Schustermann & Borenstein GmbH for an unspecified amount, its second purchase in the German consumer sector in less than a week, the company said Monday.

The buy comes on the heels of AXA taking a stake in German frozen food producer frostkrone Holding GmbH last Wednesday, and considerably fleshes out what was previously a sparse portfolio in that market.
