White House To Speed Permits For 7 Green-Energy Projects

Law360, Las Vegas (August 7, 2012, 8:06 PM EDT) -- The White House said Tuesday it would expedite approval of seven major wind and solar energy projects representing some 5,000 megawatts of power, including a massive wind facility that could become the largest in the world.

Sited on public lands managed by the U.S. Department of the Interior in Arizona, California, Nevada and Wyoming, the projects could power about 1.5 million households, the White House said.
