Reid Says Wind Tax Credit Will Be Extended In 2012

Law360, Las Vegas (August 7, 2012, 5:54 PM EDT) -- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said Tuesday he expected Congress to pass legislation extending a critical tax credit for the wind energy industry by the end of 2012, signaling Democrats are ready to push the measure through after the summer recess.

Reid’s remarks came at the National Clean Energy Summit in Las Vegas, where Reid joined Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and wind industry leaders Tuesday morning to announce the completion of the first wind power facility on Nevada’s public lands.
