Greenberg Traurig Gets OK To Represent First Magnus

Law360, New York (October 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- First Magnus Financial Corp. will be primarily represented in its Chapter 11 proceedings by Greenberg Traurig LLP, the law firm whose attorneys filed the defunct mortgage lender's original bankruptcy papers.

Judge James M. Marlar granted First Magnus' application to appoint Greenberg Traurig as its general counsel Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona after an Oct. 2 hearing, according to court documents.
