Dura Wins Support From Court, Creditors

Law360, New York (October 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- There's light at the end of the Chapter 11 tunnel for Dura Automotive Systems Inc. now that the bankruptcy court overseeing its disclosure statement and its unsecured creditors committee have thrown their weight behind the company's reorganization plan.

Judge Kevin Carey signed off on the newest version of the statement and plan solicitation procedures on Thursday, giving the auto parts maker until Oct. 11 to distribute copies of its plan, statement and ballots to voting creditors and giving disgruntled creditors until Nov. 5 to object to...
