Firm Seeks Docs On Minnesota Bridge Collapse

Law360 (October 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Minnesota lawyers representing several families of those who died in the collapse of an interstate bridge in Minneapolis this summer have filed a freedom of information lawsuit against the Minnesota Department of Transportation, seeking access to details and documents related to the disaster.

The firm of Schwebel, Goetz, & Sieben filed the lawsuit Friday in state court, attempting to force the Mn/DOT to release of a variety of documents, including diagnostic studies, inspections, and contracts related to the bridge and its construction.
