GE Recalls 1.3M Dishwashers Due to Fire Hazard

Law360, New York (August 9, 2012, 2:12 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and General Electric Co. on Thursday announced the recall of 1.3 million GE dishwashers in the U.S. found to be potential fire hazards.

The voluntary recall affects Hotpoint, GE, GE Profile, GE Eterna and GE Adora plastic tub dishwashers manufactured from March 2006 to July 2006 and from November 2006 to April 2008.
