Orrick, Simpson Advise $875M Merger Of Chinese IT Cos.

Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 2:32 PM EDT) -- Software development companies VanceInfo Technologies Inc. and hiSoft Technology International Ltd. are coming together in an $875 million merger to form the largest China-based offshore IT services provider, the companies said Friday.

Per the all-stock deal, investors of both VanceInfo and hiSoft will own equal halves of the new company, which will live on under hiSoft's NASDAQ ticker of HSFT. A new name for the company will be announced at a later date, the companies said.
