Breg Pain Pump Injury Case Revived In 6th Circ.

Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 5:04 PM EDT) -- The Sixth Circuit on Friday revived some claims in a product liability suit against medical device maker Breg Inc. that alleges the company designed a defective pain relief system that didn’t contain adequate warnings or instructions.

Breg has faced numerous lawsuits over the alleged defects in its pain pumps, which inject pain relief medication into an area of the body. Most of the suits, including this one, revolve around the pumps’ use in joints such as shoulders.
