Heineken's Singapore Brewer Buy Hits Snags

Law360, New York (August 14, 2012, 5:35 PM EDT) -- Dutch beer giant Heineken NV's bid to better establish itself in Asia's beverage market could be in trouble after affiliates of a Thai billionaire on Tuesday finalized purchases of stakes in Singapore's Fraser & Neave Ltd. and its Heineken-targeted brewing subsidiary, effectively making him the largest single shareholder.
