Lululemon Hits Calvin Klein With IP Suit Over Yoga Pants

Law360, New York (August 14, 2012, 4:56 PM EDT) -- Yoga and exercise clothing company Lululemon Athletica Canada Inc. sued Calvin Klein Inc. in Delaware federal court on Monday, claiming the fashion brand's exercise pants infringe three design patents.

Lululemon alleged that Calvin Klein and its supplier, G-III Apparel Group Ltd., have been selling spandex-based athletic pants that incorporate patented elements of the Canadian company’s best-selling Astro yoga pants.
