2 More Agencies Join $650M Challenge To Ga. River Project

Law360, New York (August 14, 2012, 2:12 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Tuesday ruled the Georgia Ports Authority and the Savannah River Maritime Commission may join a $650 million lawsuit challenging a project to deepen the river shipping channel.

But U.S. District Judge Richard Mark Gergel denied a separate motion by the original plaintiffs to be allowed to expand their complaint to include South Carolina environmental permitting requirements.
