J&J Unit Sues Hologic For Patent Infringement

Law360, New York (October 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A unit of pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson has sued Hologic, alleging that the Massachusetts health company infringed on numerous patents that cover surgical systems used primarily in breast cancer biopsies.

Ethicon Endo-Surgery Inc. filed suit on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio against Hologic and its Suros Surgical Systems unit.
