Ethanol Maker's Trustee Wants Case Converted To Ch. 7

Law360, New York (August 14, 2012, 5:50 PM EDT) -- The U.S. trustee for bankrupt Clean Burn Fuels LLC on Monday asked a North Carolina judge to convert the ethanol maker's Chapter 11 case to a Chapter 7, after the company ceased operations and abandoned plans to reorganize. 

U.S. Trustee Sara A. Conti told Law360 on Tuesday that Clean Burn Fuels’ shutdown in operations required the case to be converted to a Chapter 7, but declined to comment further on the case.
