Grassley Expands Agency Email-Monitoring Inquiry

Law360, New York (August 15, 2012, 3:18 PM EDT) -- After months of investigation into allegations that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration spied on employees with computer-surveillance software, U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley expanded the probe Monday by asking the Drug Enforcement Administration if it uses the same program. 

In a letter to the DEA, the Iowa Republican said he was looking into the extent of such practices throughout the government.
