Calif. Court Can't Repay Gay Spouse's Health Coverage: GAO

Law360, New York (August 15, 2012, 9:07 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office determined Tuesday that a California court could not use appropriated funds to reimburse a worker for the cost of the health insurance his husband purchased after he was ruled ineligible to enroll as a same-sex spouse in the federal government's health care plan.
