EPA Settles Suit Over Texas' Ozone Cleanup Plan

Law360, Dallas (August 15, 2012, 8:12 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Tuesday settled a Clean Air Act suit brought by the Sierra Club, agreeing to review parts of Texas' implementation plan to reduce air pollution in Dallas and Houston.

According to a consent decree approved by U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, the EPA will issue by January 2014 final decisions approving or disapproving 26 proposals that are part of the state's implementation plan.
