Daelim Wins $285M Contract For Vietnamese Coal Plant

Law360, New York (August 16, 2012, 2:56 PM EDT) -- South Korean construction firm Daelim Industrial Co. Ltd. has landed a 321.6 billion won ($285 million) contract to build a coal-fed power plant for a subsidiary of Vietnam's state-owned electricity provider, it said Thursday.

Daelim plans to deliver the O-Mon Thermal Power Plant's second unit, which will be around 300 megawatts, by October 2015, according to a filing with the Korean stock exchange.
