Lego Owners, Teachers' Funnel $614M Into Danish Facility Co.

Law360, New York (August 16, 2012, 1:49 PM EDT) -- The parent of toymaker Lego Group and the private equity arm of Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan are injecting €500 million ($613.9 million) into Danish facility service company ISS World Services A/S, the companies announced Thursday.

Teachers' is taking the lead in the deal, putting in about 2.6 billion Danish kroner ($431 million), while Kirkbi A/S covers the rest. Together, the firms will now own 26 percent of the company. ISS' current owners EQT Partners and GS Capital Partners LP, however, are not giving up any of...
