Akin Gump's Fee Request In $120M Libel Suit Called Excessive

Law360, Los Angeles (August 17, 2012, 4:40 PM EDT) -- An attorney and a business consultant who lost their $120 million defamation lawsuits against Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP said Friday that the firm's counsel inflated the number of hours it worked on the case so that Akin Gump could collect nearly $144,000 in fees.
