GM Recalls 250K Midsize SUVs Over Fire Hazard

Law360, New York (August 20, 2012, 1:04 PM EDT) -- General Motors Co. is launching a recall in North America and elsewhere of more than a quarter of a million midsize SUVs to repair a defect in the door mechanism that could cause an electrical short and result in a potentially dangerous fire, a traffic safety regulator said Saturday.
