Law360, Los Angeles (August 21, 2012, 8:44 PM EDT) -- LG Electronics Inc. and Sears Holdings Corp. are voluntarily recalling about 21,000 gas clothing dryers, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Tuesday, saying the dryers may continue heating clothes after a dry cycle is complete, posing a risk of burns, fires and smoke inhalation.
In an announcement released Tuesday, the CPSC said about 21,000 LG Electronics and Kenmore Elite-brand dryers sold nationwide between November 2009 and August 2010 may suffer from a faulty gas valve.
