AA Pilots Union Prepares For Strike Vote

Law360, New York (August 22, 2012, 8:51 PM EDT) -- The board of the pilots union for bankrupt American Airlines Inc. announced Wednesday that it was preparing to hold a strike vote and to begin electronic balloting if AA parent AMR Corp. takes any action to impose term sheet provisions on the union.

The board announced that it had voted to direct the union's national officers to make necessary preparations to conduct a strike vote of the membership days after AMR renewed its request that a New York bankruptcy judge let it reject its collective bargaining...
