Dow To Begin Talks With EPA Over Dioxin Cleanup

Law360, New York (October 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Dow Chemical said Thursday it had agreed to enter into negotiations with the U.S. Environmental and Protection Agency for a plan to clean up dioxin contamination in Michigan’s Tittabawassee River stemming from one of the company’s plants.

Dow spokesperson John Musser confirmed Thursday that the company will accept Dow’s offer to begin the talks.
