Promising For Property: Mich.'s New Groundwater Rules

Law360, New York (September 5, 2012, 2:15 PM EDT) -- Through Public Act 190 of 2012, Michigan recently amended the requirements for response activities addressing impacted groundwater that vents into surface water. Vented groundwater is subject to groundwater/surface water interface (GSI) criteria, and the amendments are aimed at addressing the great difficulty in complying with this criteria.
