AT&T, Subcontractors Settle $5M Fuel Spill Suit

Law360, New York (August 27, 2012, 2:15 PM EDT) -- AT&T Mobility LLC subcontractors on Friday reached a settlement with the company in a $5 million suit over the spill of 16,000 gallons of diesel fuel at a data center in Washington state.

Shilpa Bhatia of Wilson Smith Cochran Dickerson, who represents third-party defendant Evergreen Power Systems Inc., said the settlement is confidential.

The telecommunications company had sued construction company Holaday-Parks Fabricators Inc. in 2010 in federal court in Washington state, saying it should be held liable for the fuel spill damage under the construction contract...
