Victoria's Secret Hit With $15M Suit Over Knockoff Hosiery

Law360, New York (August 27, 2012, 6:20 PM EDT) -- Victoria's Secret Stores Inc. hosiery supplier Zephyrs has hit the lingerie retailer with a $15 million lawsuit in Ohio federal court accusing the company of selling knockoff stockings while using misleading pictures of Zephyrs' higher-quality products, violating their supply contract and federal false advertising laws.

Runberg Inc., doing business as Zephyrs, says it supplied Victoria's Secret with lingerie and hosiery for more than 10 years, but that the retailer recently decided to cut corners and start making its own versions of the Zephyr garments, according to...
