FERC Halts Review On TransCanada Alaska Pipeline

Law360, New York (August 30, 2012, 2:39 PM EDT) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Wednesday told Congress it would not move forward with the environmental review process for TransCanada Corp.'s Alaska pipeline project until the energy company settles on a project plan.

FERC sent the semi-annual report on Alaska pipeline activity, required under the Energy Policy Act of 2005, to Congress on Wednesday.
