First M.A. For Patent Agents To Be Offered This Fall

Law360 (July 21, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A university in Missouri is preparing to launch the first graduate program in the U.S. specifically designed for aspiring patent agents, with plans to offer similar degrees in Boston and Washington, D.C. in the near future.

Starting this fall, the College of Arts & Sciences at Webster University, a St. Louis-based university with 22,000 students, will offer a 36-hour master of arts program in Patent Agency, the school said.
