Judge Nixes Credit Suisse's Bid For More Time

Law360, New York (October 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has shot down a request by Credit Suisse First Boston to extend the amount of time allowed for discovery in the multidistrict litigation against health care financier National Century Financial Enterprises.

In a ruling on Friday, Judge James L. Graham of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio denied the extension, saying there was no need for the bank to depose 700 people total and 229 plaintiffs in the Arizona noteholder actions as it had requested.
