Armey Asks High Court To End Penalty For Waiving Medicare

Law360, New York (September 4, 2012, 2:13 PM EDT) -- Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to let Americans waive Medicare hospital insurance without losing Social Security benefits, saying the federal government is acting in a coercive manner deemed unconstitutional under the court’s recent ruling on health reform.
