EU Retains Dumping Duties On Chinese Lever Arches

Law360, New York (September 5, 2012, 1:30 PM EDT) -- The European Union said Tuesday it would continue to impose anti-dumping duties on lever arch mechanisms imported from China after a review found that removing the duty order would harm European companies.

The EU unveiled the duties on Chinese lever arch mechanism imports in an announcement in its official journal, saying that an expiry review of an anti-dumping duty order already in place showed that revoking the duties would likely cause further dumping and continued economic damage to EU suppliers of the products.
