Clothing Co. Merge Flunked HSR Requirement: DOJ

Law360 (October 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Iconix Brand Group Inc. agreed on Monday to cough up $550,000 to settle the Justice Department's charges that it failed to submit the necessary premerger notification materials for its purchase of clothing label Rocawear.

With its filing of the civil suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Monday, the DOJ accused the company of failing to submit certain documents prepared by its directors detailing their evaluations of the proposed acquisition.
