Siemens Faces Suit Over AC Drive Converters

Law360, New York (October 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Siemens Energy & Automation Inc. has become the target of a lawsuit filed by Enpat Inc., which says that Siemens' AC drive converters infringe on a single patent related to controlling AC current.

Enpat filed the lawsuit Friday, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, naming Alpharetta, Ga.-based Siemens as the sole defendant.
