State Environment Counsel Joins Venable

Law360, New York (October 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The principal counsel of the Maryland Department of the Environment is leaving the government to become a partner in Venable LLP's environmental practice group.

M. Rosewin Sweeney plans to vacate her state office on Nov. 2. She will join the firm's Baltimore office in mid-November.

Sweeney said she was leaving her job in the Maryland attorney general’s office for a range of personal and professional reasons.
