ATF, Whistleblowers Settle 'Fast And Furious' Retaliation Suits

Law360, New York (September 11, 2012, 2:24 PM EDT) -- Two special agents who accused the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives of retaliating against them for blowing the whistle on the infamous “Fast and Furious” gun-walking operation have settled their claims in mediation, the U.S. Office of Special Counsel said Tuesday.

ATF agents Larry Alt and Olindo J. Casa accused the government of retaliating against them after protesting the ATF's botched gun-trafficking investigation along the U.S.-Mexico border.
