Pfizer Quibbles With Plaintiffs Over Mirapex Experts

Law360 (October 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc. has defended moves to appoint a whopping 21 expert witnesses to challenge claims in litigation over its restless leg drug Mirapex.

Slamming a bid by plaintiffs to “contort” the court's instructions and restrict the number of experts to 11, the drug maker argued the operative pretrial order put no limit on the number of experts either side could have in its arsenal.
