FDA Nets New Counsel Masoudi From DOJ

Law360 (October 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has snagged Gerald Masoudi from his former post in the Department of Justice's antitrust division to serve as its associate general counsel.

Masoudi's recent move to the Department of Health and Human Services' Food and Drug division, which handles the agency's legal matters, isn't his first.

Before beginning his two-year stint in charge of international, policy and appellate matters with the competition watchdog, Masoudi spent a year as principal deputy associate general counsel for the Food and Drug division....
