SEC Taps Agency Counsel For Deputy Compliance Post

Law360, New York (September 14, 2012, 4:41 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said Wednesday it has appointed commission attorney Andrew J. Bowden to serve as deputy director of its Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations.

Bowden, formerly the national associate director for OCIE's program examining investment advisers and companies, will succeed Norm Champ, named in July to head the SEC's Division of Investment Management, the agency said.
