Law360, New York (October 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two former accountants for Qwest Communications International Inc. facing civil charges of securities fraud from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said in a brief on Tuesday that their cases should receive a trial separate from that of three other ex-Qwest officers, including former CEO Joseph Nacchio.
James Kozlowski and Frank T. Noyes first moved for a separate trial on Sept. 14, and the SEC responded on Oct. 4. Tuesday's brief rebutted the SEC's response.
