ThaiBev's $10B F&N Bid Threatens Heineken's Brewer Buy

Law360, New York (September 13, 2012, 3:40 PM EDT) -- Thai Beverage PCL owner Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi on Thursday reinforced that he wouldn't back off attempts to thwart Heineken NV's bid for an Asian brewer, launching a takeover effort of his own that values the beermaker's parent Fraser & Neave Ltd. at SG$12.53 billion ($10.2 billion).
