Rambus Asks Court To Reject Micron's Counterclaims

Law360, New York (October 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Rambus Inc. on Wednesday argued in federal court that it was entitled to summary judgment on its rival chip maker Micron's counterclaim in an ongoing patent suit over a slew of memory process patents.

The counterclaims accuse Rambus of withholding information from the Joint Electron Device Engineering Council, a private standard-setting organization in the computer chip industry, so that other companies would end up infringing on Rambus' patents.
