1st Circ. Nixes Maine's Bid For Early Medicaid Waiver Ruling

Law360, New York (September 13, 2012, 8:09 PM EDT) -- The First Circuit on Thursday rejected Maine's attempt to make two federal agencies decide on a Medicaid waiver for the state by its Oct. 1 budget deadline, saying its claims it would suffer irreparable harm unless the decision is made by then don't warrant court intervention.
