Arkin Levels Contempt Motion At Ex-Partners In Billing Row

Law360, New York (September 14, 2012, 7:17 PM EDT) -- Continuing a public legal assault, noted New York City lawyer Stanley S. Arkin told a judge Thursday that two former colleagues from dissolving litigation and white collar boutique Arkin Kaplan Rice LLP should be held in contempt for flouting an order for "transparency" in sharing billing records.

Defendants Howard J. Kaplan and Michelle A. Rice, who founded a breakaway firm called Kaplan Rice LLP after failing to agree on compensation in negotiations with Arkin, have released only $10,000 in receipts they earned prior to the firm's...
