Hostess To Ask Judge To Enforce New CBA With Bakery Union

Law360, New York (September 17, 2012, 2:44 PM EDT) -- Bankrupt Hostess Brands Inc. said Friday it would ask a New York federal judge to enforce a controversial new collective bargaining agreement after one of the Twinkie-maker’s largest unions rejected the deal.

The Teamsters union voted narrowly to accept the new CBA Friday, but the Bakery Workers union rejected the agreement, which would lower wages and limit participation in pension plans.
