US Fidelis Head Gets 3 Years For $70M Refunds Fraud

Law360, New York (September 18, 2012, 2:32 PM EDT) -- A Missouri federal judge on Tuesday sentenced Cory Atkinson, the former owner of bankrupt car warranty dealer U.S. Fidelis Inc., to 40 months in prison on charges stemming from his theft of as much as $71 million in customer refunds.
