Virgin Atlantic Appeals $280M IAG-Lufthansa Deal In EU Court

Law360, New York (September 19, 2012, 1:19 PM EDT) -- Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd. has lodged an appeal with a European Union court, challenging the approval of International Consolidated Airlines Group SA's £172.5 million ($279.6 million) purchase of British Midland Ltd. from Deutsche Lufthansa AG, the EU court confirmed Wednesday.
