Professors Say Law School Ousted Them In Retaliation

Law360, New York (October 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Three law professors have lobbed a whistleblower lawsuit against the young Ave Maria School of Law, claiming that they were suspended and banned from campus after they put up a fight against the board of governors' plans to move the school from Michigan to Florida.

After they reported their concerns about relocating the seven-year-old Catholic law school and their suspicions about other illegal misconduct, the professors claim that they were denied tenure, smeared and suspended without pay, according their complaint, lodged on Thursday in Michigan state...
