House Panel Clears Rep. Waters Over Husband's Bank Ties

Law360, New York (September 21, 2012, 1:52 PM EDT) -- A U.S. House of Representative ethics panel on Friday cleared Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., of any wrongdoing in connection with her work on behalf of minority banks and her husband’s former position as a board member and shareholder of one of those banks.
