Bid To Dismiss Celexa Wrongful Death Suits Denied

Law360 (October 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has denied a request by Forest Laboratories to dismiss eight suits in the multidistrict product liability litigation over antidepressants Celexa and Lexapro.

In an order Friday, Judge Rodney W. Sippel of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri shot down the drug maker's request to dismiss the plaintiffs' suits for allegedly failing to comply with electronic discovery requirements in the wrongful death cases.
